The scenic 13.1 KM course from Braemar Hill to Repulse Bay contains some of the prettiest and most runnable sections on Hong Kong Island.
The steep trails and technical Boa Vista section make it a grueling but fast race.
The race will have a unique handicapping system which will make winners of men and women of all ages.
- first across the line based on the time reduction,
- fastest overall time based on pure speed.
Get ready to burn your legs and lungs out!
So that people of all ages can compete in this race on a more or less equitable basis some runners will recieve a time reduction. The following table indicates how many minutes each entrant will lose based on gender and age.
A fast 3.8km run round Sir Cecil's Ride before hitting the biggest climb of the race up Mount Parker Road.
Then runners hit Boa Vista. Slippery, technical, but no chance for a break as you run down towards the start of a long concrete descent.
After hitting the turn at the Tai Tam Reservoir Bridge, runners run a short section around Tai Tam Reservoir before a super short technical section down into Repulse Bay.
